The bar has undergone a major upgrade which makes it a very pleasant place to enjoy a beer and food. The bar staff were really friendly and looked after us. Even brought some water for our dog.
Only gave 4 stars for rooms, as no lift, and I am partly immobile, knee operation. Thoroughly enjoyed stay in July, me and my friend Colin.
I stayed victoria hotel kirkcaldy sunday16 November to Friday 21st November while doing fife costal path half of it the staff are brilliant at there job very professional nothing to much trouble rooms immaculate bed so comfy breakfast brilliant I would recommend this hotel to anybody thanks again Victoria hotel
Lovely hotel, recently been done up with fresh carpets and wall papering. I attended for a funeral which was busy. Staff were all quick to refill drinks and clear tables. Toilets nice and clean also. A 10 mins walk to the town centre and on decent roads to access other places. Has a smaller lounge bar area and has a pool hall and bar across the road. Fully wheelchair accessible
We stayed at the Victoria Hotel this last weekend and I have to say this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The rooms are clean and modern but the building retains its original features. The staff…oh my word they are exceptional…Ruby, Sue,Sheila, Rose and Dao were just lovely(hope I got all the names right). It is just such a shame that Kirkcaldy itself has suffered from decline. This hotel though is a little beacon of light.
We were just there as a stop while traveling the Fife Coastal Trail. The staff were all lovely....very welcoming. The room was super clean and the bathroom top notch (though I didn't see a dryer). We had dinner in the dining room and found it to be very good. The breakfast provided was substantial with generous portions. I would definitely recommend it to other travelers.
We went for a funeral wake however the new carpets and wallpapering throughout was lovely. Would be nice to use for any occasion including weddings. We didn't see inside the rooms as weren't staying over.
Lovely hotel. Great staff very welcoming, dog friendly, rooms clean and comfortable. Had tea in the bar which was also dog friendly and the food was home cooked and priced well . Great service, couldn't ask for any better. Would recommend to other travellers
